NEW PUBLIC RECORDS RULES
The Supreme Court of
Ohio adopted Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio 44-47
effective July 1, 2009. These rules govern the direct
and remote access by the public to court records. Court records are
defined by the rules as case documents and administrative documents.

Trumbull County Probate Court has updated its Guardianship Manuals.
Minor
Guardianship and Adult
Guardianship Manuals are now available online.
We
have added an APS Flow
Chart.
For
your convenience, we have added complete packets of forms on the Local
Forms page.

Electronic
Filing:
The Trumbull County Probate Court is the first Probate Court in the state
of Ohio to allow the electronic filing of documents via the
Internet. Attorneys who are interested in exploring this opportunity
should contact the Probate Court to register.
Those attorneys with questions regarding SPF 7.0 Notice to Administrator
of Estate Recovery Program can call the Ohio Attorney General's Office
with general questions at the following number (614)-752-2211 and ask to
speak with an Account Representative. For those interested in the

Senior Link has been added to our Contacts page. Senior Link is
a new tool to assist families, caregivers, professionals and older
individuals in the community who are in search of services.

Ohio Department of Aging has an online guide to long-term care and life
planning called "Taking Charge: Planning for Later
Life." We have posted a copy of their Personal Profile Planner here
which is an excellent tool for documenting your personal and financial
information as well as a record of your wishes.

Courtwise is an Online Volunteer
Guardianship Training program created and used by the Trumbull County Probate
Court.

Notice:
Attorneys interested in receiving correspondences from the court (for
example, Notice of Hearing) via e-mail should contact the Court at (330) 675-2521.

Webcheck:
Webcheck is now a mandatory procedure for adoptions in the Trumbull County
Probate Court. Webcheck may also be used in some cases for
applicants in a guardianship, estate or trust.
